Kabale is a district found in kigezi sub-region, its approximately 420km by road south west of Kampala. Time travel is 6 hours from Kampala.
The town is sited 6,600ft above sea level, bordering Uganda and Rwanda. Kabale inhabits Bakiga tribe as the main tribe and other tribes within are Batwa, Banyarwanda and Bahororo tribal clans.
The population according to the 2014 census Kabale has 49,667 people.

Kabale being a hilly and forested area, Land practices done are growing crops and keeping livestock. Crops grown are; sorghum, irish potatoes, beans, sweet potatoes, field peas, maize, finger millet, wheat, bananas, pumpkins, tobacco and vegetables.
Animals reared are cattle, pigs, goats and sheep.

Attractions in Kabale are: Bwindi impenetrable forest national park, mountain muhavura, highlands composed of the karagwe-Ankolean rock system,
Natural forests and grasslands- Echuya forest, Kirima forest and Bwindi impenetrable forest.

The weather in Kabale has a Bimodal rainfall where by long and heavy rains appear between March-May and dry seasons come in June, July and August. contact
